LUCA Celebrates International Women's Day 2025
This blog series from LUCA focuses on community engagement, professional athlete support, and the celebration of women in sport through events and new product launches.
Empowering the Community
International Women's Day (IWD) 2025: A heartfelt letter from LUCA's female founder redefines what it means to be a"girl's girl". The post encourages women to see each other as teammates rather than rivals, celebrating each other's wins to ensure everyone "rises" together.
Celebrating IWD with Events: LUCA is participating in two major 2025 events: SHE Thrives at Sport Wales National Centre on March 7th, featuring workshops on women in sport, and a collaborative Moloko Cycling x therhiclub x Canyonevent on March 8th. The latter includes a Q&A panel with endurance athletes and cycling champions to raise funds for Cure Leukaemia.
Health & Fitness Initiatives
Meet Harriet, the LUCA Physiotherapist: Harriet, the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Third Space Wimbledon, joins the community to provide expert advice on injury prevention and performance. A specialist in cycling-related injuries, she is also personally training for the Ironman 70.3 in Mallorca.
Professional Support: LUCA members can book a complimentary 15-minute body review or consultation with Harriet to help them stay strong and confident on their bikes.
LUCA x PSYCLE Spin Class: The brand is returning to the saddle at Psycle Victoria on Saturday, March 29th. Led by instructor Naomi Tolan, the high-octane session includes a ride, a LUCA pop-up shop, and a giveaway.
